There is nothing quite like coming back from a long weekend to receive an email from our friends at Travel Weekly announcing we are the winners of a GOLD Travel Weekly Magellan Award! Tripology earned the Gold Award designation in the Online Travel Services category. We are more than a little excited as less than 10 percent of all entries are selected as winners of Gold Magellan Awards, their top honor.
The press we have received over the last couple of months has confirmed what we have known all along, we are onto a winner - you, the Travel Specialist. We believe the way forward for Travel Specialists lies in putting the face and personal customer service into the online travel experience.
Travelers are becoming wary of user generated content and frustrated with trying to sift through the mounds of information. Travelers are starting to recognize the value of a travel specialist who has been to the destination, can offer ‘insiders tips’ for an authentic vacation experience and is able to steer them away from some of the pitfalls of traveling.
